Page number to convert |
A PostScript file can contain multiple pages, but LinkCAD only converts single pages. Use this option to select the page you would like to convert. |
|
Precision |
Some drawing entities don't have an equivalent in the other supported formats. LinkCAD converts such entities to polylines. This setting allows you to control the precision of this conversion. Either specify an absolute tolerance value or a fix the number of polygon vertices per full circle. Setting an absolute tolerance value is preferred because it dynamically adapts the polygon complexity according to the object size. Use a large precision value to limit the size of the polygons. |
|
Treat white areas as holes |
Some PostScript files create holes in colored shapes by placing a white shape over the colored one. If this option is checked, LinkCAD will subtract all white filled shapes from any colored shape below it. If unchecked, white shapes are placed on a second layer named "white". |
|
Ignore clipping paths |
Clipping paths in PostScript files create a "window", which defines the visible drawing area. If this option is checked, clipping paths are ignored. |
|
Explode all text to polylines |
Select to draw text using polylines. This option preserves the original text's formatting at the expense of file size. |
|
Explode special text only |
Select to selectively draw text using polylines. Only special fonts (such as Symbol) will be exploded to polylines. |
