Pixel size |
LinkCAD converts each pixel (dot) in the imported raster image to a square. This option specifies the size of a single square.
Example: if you have an image 100 pixel wide and 200 pixel high, and specify a pixel size of 1 micron, the dimension of the import image will be 100 x 200 microns. |
|
Merge horizontally adjacent pixels |
Each pixel is normally converted to a square (see above). If this option is checked, neighboring pixel squares are horizontally merged, thus creating horizontal stripes. To completely merge all pixels (or stripes) use the "Merge" command under the Tools menu. |
|
50% Threshold |
Converts pixels with gray values above the middle gray level (128) to white and below to black. The result is a very high-contrast, black-and-white representation of the image. |
|
Dither |
Converts an image by organizing the gray levels into configurations of black and white dots. |
