License Transfer

Single User Licenses can be transferred from one computer to another:

1. Make sure that the version of LinkCAD on the source and the target computer is the same.

2. Install and launch LinkCAD on the target computer. Write down the serial number in the Help | About LinkCAD... dialog.

3. Launch your licensed version of LinkCAD, go to Help | About LinkCAD... and enter the target computer's serial number in the Transfer License field.

4. Verify that the serial number is correct.

5. Click the Transfer button confirm that you want to transfer the license.  

6. You will be given the unlock code for the target machine and LinkCAD on this machine will be disabled. If you loose this unlock code, simply launch LinkCAD on the previously licensed machine. The target serial number and unlock code will again be displayed.

Note: There are no limits on the number of times LinkCAD can be transferred.
