System Requirements

The following are required to run and use LinkCAD:

Windows Version

Operating Systems:

• Windows 95 (Internet Explorer 4 or later required)

• Windows 98

• Windows Me

• Windows NT4 with Service Pack 3 or higher (SP3)

• Windows 2000

• Windows XP

CPU: Pentium 100MHz (minimum) or equivalent processor

Memory: 16 MBytes RAM / 10 MBytes of free hard disk space. RAM requirements may be much higher depending on the size of the drawings.

Graphics Card: an OpenGL compatible graphics card is recommended if you are using LinkCAD View.

Linux Version

Operating Systems: glibc2.1 (libc6.1) based Linux system, such as RedHat Linux 6.1

CPU: Pentium 100MHz (minimum) or equivalent processor

Memory: 16 MBytes RAM / 10 MBytes of free hard disk space. RAM requirements may be much higher depending on the size of the drawings.

Solaris Version

Operating Systems: SUN Solaris 2.5 or higher

CPU: SPARC / UltraSPARC processor

Memory: 32 MBytes RAM / 10 MBytes of free hard disk space. RAM requirements may be much higher depending on the size of the drawings.
