Measurements can be displayed in several units:

1. Click on the small down-arrow to display the list of units.

2. Select the desired units from the list. You may need to use the scrollbar to display all units.

Use this tool to measure the distance between two vertices in your drawing:

1. Select the Measure Distance tool

2. Move the cursor near the first vertex. A small square snaps to the vertex closest to the mouse arrow. Click to select the first vertex.

3. Move the cursor near the second vertex. Again, a small square snaps to vertex closest to the mouse arrow. Click to select it.

4. The distance between the two vertices is displayed in the status bar .

Use this tool to determine the exact coordinates of a vertex in your drawing:

1. Select the Locate Point tool.

2. Move the cursor around the drawing. As you move, a small square snaps to the vertex closest to the mouse arrow.

3. The vertex' coordinates are displayed in the status bar .

4. Once you are finished, re-select the Locate Point to exit the tool.
