Performance Options

The Performance Options control the rendering speed of the drawing.

OpenGL Options: if your graphics card is OpenGL® compatible, and you have a suitable driver installed, you may greatly increase LinkCAD View's drawing speed by enabling the option use hardware graphics acceleration.

Enabling hardware accelerated rendering may yield unexpected and undesirable results. The drawing may not display correctly and your computer may crash or reboot unexpectedly. Please read the chapter Enabling Hardware Acceleration for further details.

Precision: if your drawing contains a great number of small geometries, this option increases the drawing speed by simplifying the drawing. As you zoom in on a detail of the drawing, it will be displayed with full precision.
